How to Restore a Home Directory or Specific Files Using JetBackup

If you've accidentally deleted or overwritten a file or folder, JetBackup makes it easy to restore just what you need - without touching your databases or email accounts.

Restoring Your Home Directory

1. Log in to cPanel and open JetBackup from the Files section.
2. Click Home Directory in the JetBackup dashboard.
3. Select a backup date from the list of available snapshots.
4. Choose to restore the entire home directory, or browse to find specific files or folders.
5. Click the restore icon next to what you'd like to recover.
6. Confirm the restore when prompted.

JetBackup will restore the selected files to your account. Existing files in the same location may be overwritten.

Restoring Specific Files

JetBackup lets you browse the file structure within each backup snapshot. This means you can navigate to a specific folder - such as public_html/wp-content/themes/ - and restore just the files you need, leaving everything else intact.

• Recovering a deleted theme or plugin folder
