How long does a domain transfer take?
Most domain transfers complete within 5-7 days. The process includes unlocking your domain at your current registrar, obtaining an EPP/authorization code, and confirming the transfer via email.
Will my website go down during the transfer?
No. Your website, email, and DNS settings will continue to function normally during the transfer process. We maintain all existing DNS records until you are ready to make changes.
How do I get my EPP code?
Log in to your current domain registrar account and look for options like "EPP code", "Authorization code", or "Transfer code". If you cannot find it, contact your current registrar directly and they will provide it.
Does a transfer renew my domain?
Yes. Most domain transfers add one year to your current expiration date. So if your domain expires in 6 months, after a successful transfer it will expire in 18 months.
What if my domain is locked?
