How to Restore Cron Jobs Using JetBackup

Cron jobs are scheduled tasks that run automatically on your hosting account - like sending automated emails, running backups, or updating a feed. If your cron jobs were accidentally deleted or changed, JetBackup can restore them from a previous daily backup.

Steps to Restore Cron Jobs

1. Log in to cPanel and open JetBackup from the Files section.
2. Click Cron Jobs in the JetBackup dashboard.
3. Select the backup snapshot date you'd like to restore from.
4. Review the list of cron jobs stored in that snapshot.
5. Click the restore icon and confirm when prompted.

JetBackup will restore your cron jobs to the state they were in at the time of the selected backup.

What Gets Restored

Restoring cron jobs from JetBackup recovers:

• The full list of scheduled cron job commands
• The schedule settings for each job (minute, hour, day, etc.)

After the Restore

Once the cron jobs are restored, verify them in cPanel by going to Advanced > Cron Jobs. Confirm that each job's command and schedule look correct before relying on them to run.
