How to View Resource Usage Across All Client Accounts

Keeping an eye on resource usage is essential for resellers. You need to ensure your total consumption stays within your dotCanada reseller allocation and that no single client is monopolizing your resources.

Viewing Overall Account Usage

In WHM, go to Account Information then List Accounts. This shows all your client accounts with a summary of disk usage and bandwidth beside each account. You can sort the list by usage to quickly spot which accounts are consuming the most resources.

Viewing Bandwidth Usage

1. In WHM, go to Account Information then View Bandwidth Usage
2. Select a month to view historical bandwidth consumption per account
3. The bar graph and table give a clear breakdown of which accounts are using the most data transfer

Viewing Disk and Resource Usage

1. Go to Account Information then View Resource Usage
2. This report shows CPU usage, memory usage, entry processes, and I/O for each account
3. Accounts highlighted in red may be approaching or exceeding their limits

What to Do When Usage Is High

• Review the top-consuming accounts and contact the clients if needed
• Consider upgrading your reseller plan if overall usage is consistently near the limit
• Adjust individual account limits to prevent overconsumption
