Overview of the WHM Dashboard

When you first log into WHM, the dashboard can feel overwhelming. This guide walks you through the key sections so you can navigate with confidence.

Main Navigation

The left sidebar is your primary navigation panel. It groups tools into categories including Account Information, Account Functions, DNS Functions, Email, and more. Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to quickly find any tool by name.

Key Sections to Know

Account Information

View a summary of all client accounts, their resource usage, disk space, and bandwidth consumption. This is your go-to area for monitoring your reseller allocation.

Account Functions

Create, modify, suspend, unsuspend, and terminate client cPanel accounts. You'll also find tools for changing passwords and upgrading packages here.

Packages

Define reusable hosting packages with preset resource limits. Assign packages to clients when creating accounts for consistent, scalable provisioning.

Feature Manager

Control which cPanel features are available to your clients. You can create multiple feature lists and assign them to different client tiers.

DNS Functions

Manage DNS zones for client domains, set up branded nameservers, and configure DNS clustering.

Server Configuration

Access settings for PHP versions, Apache, MySQL, and other server-level configurations within your reseller permissions.
