How to Access Webmail from cPanel

Webmail lets you access your email directly in a web browser without needing to set up a mail client like Outlook or Apple Mail. dotCanada supports Webmail access for all email accounts hosted on your domain.

Accessing Webmail

There are two easy ways to access Webmail:

1. From cPanel:
   • Log in to cPanel and go to the Email section.
   • Click Email Accounts.
   • Find the account you want to access and click Check Email. This will open Webmail logged in as that account.
2. Direct URL:
   • Visit yourdomain.com/webmail in your browser (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain).
   • Enter your full email address (e.g., you@yourdomain.com) and your email account password.
   • Click Log In.

Choosing a Webmail Client

After logging in, you may be prompted to choose a Webmail application. dotCanada's servers include Roundcube, which offers a clean, modern interface with support for folders, contacts, and calendar features. Click Open next to Roundcube to start using it, and optionally set it as your default.

Tips

• Bookmark yourdomain.com/webmail for quick access without going through cPanel.
• Webmail is particularly handy when travelling or using a shared computer.
• Make sure your email account has enough storage quota allocated - you can adjust this in the Email Accounts section of cPanel.
