How to View Disk Usage in cPanel

When you first log in to cPanel, the Statistics panel on the right side shows a summary of your current disk usage compared to your plan's limit. This gives you an at-a-glance view of how much space you are using.

1. Log in to cPanel and go to the Files section.
2. Click Disk Usage.
3. The tool displays a visual and text breakdown of disk usage by directory. You can see which folders are consuming the most space.
4. Click on a directory name to navigate into it and see a further breakdown.

Common Space Consumers

• Email accounts - inboxes can grow large over time. Consider archiving or deleting old emails.
• Database files - large or unoptimized databases take up significant space. Use phpMyAdmin to optimize tables.
