How to Access Webmail for the First Time

dotCanada includes professional webmail with every hosting plan, powered by Roundcube. Webmail lets you send and receive email directly from your browser - no app or email client required. Here is how to log in for the first time.

Step 1: Go to Your Webmail URL

Open your browser and type in your webmail address. It follows this format:

https://webmail.yourdomain.com

Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name. You can also access webmail by appending /webmail to your domain: https://yourdomain.com/webmail.

Step 2: Log In

On the webmail login screen, enter:

• Email Address: Your full email address (e.g., hello@yourdomain.ca)
• Password: The password you set when creating the email account in cPanel

Click Log In to access your inbox.

Step 3: Choose Roundcube

If prompted to choose a webmail application, select Roundcube. It is dotCanada's recommended client - clean, fast, and easy to use.

Tips for Using Webmail

• Bookmark your webmail URL for quick access
• Webmail works on any device, including phones and tablets
• You can also configure your email in an app like Outlook or Apple Mail - check cPanel for the required IMAP/SMTP settings
