How to Log Into cPanel

cPanel is the control panel that powers your dotCanada hosting account. It gives you access to everything from file management and email to databases and one-click app installs. Here is how to log in.

Method 1: Through Your Client Area

The easiest way to access cPanel is directly from your dotCanada client area:

1. Log into clients.dotcanada.com
2. Navigate to Services and click on your active hosting plan
3. Click the Login to cPanel button - you will be logged in automatically without needing to enter a password

Method 2: Direct Login URL

You can also log into cPanel directly using the URL provided in your welcome email. It typically looks like:

https://yourserver.dotcanada.com:2083

Enter your cPanel username and password on the login screen and click Log In.

What You Will See

Once inside cPanel, you will find a dashboard with sections for Files, Email, Databases, Software, and more. dotCanada's cPanel runs on a LiteSpeed web server with CloudLinux for added stability and performance.
