How to Use Elementor Page Builder

Elementor is a drag-and-drop visual page builder for WordPress that lets you design custom page layouts without writing any code. It is one of the most widely used page builders in the world, and it works smoothly on dotCanada’s LiteSpeed-powered hosting.

Installing Elementor

1. Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Search for Elementor Website Builder.
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Editing a Page with Elementor

1. Go to Pages > All Pages and open the page you want to edit.
2. Click the Edit with Elementor button at the top of the screen.
3. The Elementor editor opens with your page on the right and a widget panel on the left.

Building Your Layout

• Click the + icon on the canvas to add a new section. Choose a column layout (one, two, or three columns, etc.).
• Drag widgets from the left panel into your section. Common widgets include Heading, Image, Text Editor, Button, and Video.
• Click any element to select it and adjust its style in the left panel — change colours, typography, spacing, and more.
• Use the Responsive Mode buttons at the bottom to preview and adjust your layout for tablet and mobile screens.

Saving Your Work

Click the green Publish or Update button at the bottom left to save your changes. You can also save a page as a template to reuse the layout on other pages.
