Publishing Your Website in SiteJet

Once you've built and previewed your site, publishing it makes it live and accessible to the world. With dotCanada hosting and SiteJet, publishing is just one click away.

How to Publish

1. Open your website in the SiteJet editor.
2. In the top-right corner of the editor, click the Publish button.
3. SiteJet will process and deploy your site. This usually takes just a few seconds.
4. Once complete, your website is live and accessible at your connected domain.

What Happens When You Publish

• All pages, images, and settings you've configured are pushed live.
• If you've connected a custom domain, visitors will see your site at that address immediately.
• If no custom domain is connected yet, your site will be accessible via your dotCanada hosting domain.

Publishing Updates

Every time you make changes to your site - updating content, adding pages, adjusting styles - you'll need to click Publish again to push those changes live. Your edits remain in draft mode until published.

Things to Check After Publishing

• Visit your domain in a new browser tab to confirm the site is live.
• Test your site on a mobile device.
• Submit your URL to Google Search Console to begin the indexing process.
