How to Create and Edit Pages in SiteJet
Most websites have more than one page - a homepage, an about page, a contact page, and so on. SiteJet makes it easy to create, organize, and edit as many pages as your site needs.
Viewing Your Existing Pages
To see all the pages on your site, click the Pages icon or Page Manager in the top toolbar of the SiteJet editor. This will show you a list of all current pages.
Creating a New Page
- Open the Page Manager from the top toolbar
- Click Add Page or the + button
- Enter a page name (e.g., About Us, Services, Gallery)
- Choose whether to start with a blank page or use a page template
- Click Create - the new page will open in the editor
Editing a Page
To edit any existing page:
- Open the Page Manager and click the page you want to edit
- The page will load in the canvas - click any element to start editing
Page Settings
Each page has its own settings, including:
- Page title - The name that appears in browser tabs and search results
- Slug / URL - The web address for the page (e.g.,
/about-us) - Meta description - A brief summary for search engines
- Show in navigation - Control whether the page appears in your site menu
To access page settings, look for a gear or settings icon next to the page name in the Page Manager.
Duplicating or Deleting Pages
- To duplicate a page, right-click it in the Page Manager and choose Duplicate
- To delete a page, right-click it and choose Delete - this cannot be undone, so be sure before deleting
