How to Add a Logo to Your Website
Your logo is one of the most important elements of your website - it instantly communicates your brand to visitors. SiteJet makes it simple to add your logo to your site's header and other areas.
Where to Add Your Logo
Most SiteJet templates include a header section at the top of every page that contains a placeholder for your logo. This is the most common and recommended place to display it.
Replacing the Template Logo Placeholder
- Open your SiteJet editor from cPanel > Website > SiteJet Builder
- Look for the logo placeholder in the header at the top of your page
- Click on the logo placeholder to select it
- Click Replace Image or Change Image from the options that appear
- In the media library, click Upload to upload your logo file from your computer
- Select your uploaded logo and click Insert or Apply
Best Logo File Formats
- PNG with a transparent background - the most common choice for website logos
- SVG - A vector format that scales perfectly at any size
- Avoid JPEG for logos as it doesn't support transparency and can look blurry at small sizes
Adjusting Logo Size
After inserting your logo, you may want to resize it to fit the header neatly:
- Click the logo to select it and drag the resize handles
- Or use the width and height fields in the properties panel for a precise size
- A logo height of 50–80px works well for most headers
Adding Your Logo Elsewhere
You can also add your logo to your footer, an about section, or anywhere else on your site by dragging a new Image element onto the canvas and selecting your logo from the media library.
