How to Create a Blog in SiteJet

Blogging is a great way to share your expertise, connect with your audience, and improve your website's search engine visibility. SiteJet includes built-in blog functionality that you can add to your site with ease.

Enabling the Blog in SiteJet

1. Open the SiteJet editor from cPanel > Website > SiteJet Builder
2. Open the left sidebar and look for a Blog section or widget
3. Alternatively, go to the Page Manager and look for an option to Add Blog
4. Click to enable the blog - SiteJet will automatically create a blog listing page and a post template

What the Blog Feature Creates

When you enable blogging in SiteJet, you'll get:

• A blog index page - displays a list of your recent posts with previews
• A single post template - the layout used for each individual blog post
• Support for categories and tags - to help organize and filter your content

Adding the Blog to Your Navigation

Once your blog is set up, add it to your navigation menu so visitors can find it:

1. Open the navigation element in your header
2. Add a new menu item pointing to your blog page
3. Label it something like Blog, News, or Articles

Customizing Your Blog Layout

You can style your blog index and post pages just like any other page in SiteJet - adjusting colours, fonts, spacing, and layout to match the rest of your site.
