How to Manage Orders in Your SiteJet Store
Once your SiteJet store is live and customers start purchasing, you'll need to manage those orders efficiently. SiteJet includes an order management dashboard to help you stay on top of every sale.
Accessing the Orders Dashboard
- Open the SiteJet editor from cPanel > Website > SiteJet Builder
- Go to the Shop or E-commerce section in the sidebar or top menu
- Click on Orders to view your order list
Understanding Order Statuses
Each order in SiteJet will have a status to indicate where it is in the fulfillment process:
- Pending - The order has been placed but payment has not yet been confirmed
- Processing - Payment confirmed; the order is ready to be fulfilled
- Shipped - The order has been dispatched to the customer
- Completed - The order has been delivered and finalized
- Cancelled - The order was cancelled by you or the customer
- Refunded - A refund has been issued
Viewing Order Details
Click on any order to see the full details, including:
- Customer name, email, and shipping address
- Items ordered, quantities, and prices
- Payment method and transaction ID
- Order date and time
Updating an Order Status
- Open the order you want to update
- Find the Order Status dropdown
- Select the new status (e.g., change from Processing to Shipped)
- Save the changes - the customer may receive an automatic email notification depending on your settings
Issuing Refunds
If a customer requests a refund, you can process it through your payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) and then update the order status in SiteJet to Refunded.
