How to Add an Online Store to Your SiteJet Website

SiteJet includes powerful e-commerce features that let you sell products and services directly from your dotCanada website. Here's how to enable and set up your online store.

Enabling the Store Module

The online store in SiteJet is a module that needs to be enabled before you can start adding products. To do this:

1. Open the SiteJet editor from cPanel > Website > SiteJet Builder
2. Look for a Shop, Store, or E-commerce option in the left sidebar or the top settings menu
3. Click to enable the store module
4. SiteJet will generate your store pages - typically a shop listing page and a product detail template

What the Store Module Includes

Once enabled, your store will include:

• A shop/products page - where all your products are displayed
• Individual product pages - with photos, descriptions, and pricing
• A shopping cart - so customers can gather items before checkout
• A checkout page - where customers enter payment and shipping details

Adding the Store to Your Navigation

After enabling the store, add it to your navigation menu:

1. Edit your navigation element in the header
2. Add a menu item linked to your shop page
3. Label it Shop, Store, or Products

Before You Start Selling

There are a few things to configure before your store is ready for customers:

• Add products - Upload photos, write descriptions, and set prices
• Set up payment methods - Connect Stripe, PayPal, or another provider
• Configure shipping - Define shipping zones and rates
• Set your currency - Choose CAD, USD, or another currency
