What Are the Minimum Payout Requirements?

To protect against small, frequent payouts and to keep the affiliate program running efficiently, dotCanada has a minimum balance requirement before commissions can be withdrawn. Here's everything you need to know.

Minimum Payout Threshold

You must have at least $50 CAD in available (cleared) commissions before you can submit a withdrawal request. Pending commissions do not count toward this threshold.

Available vs. Pending Commissions

• Pending: Commissions that have been tracked but are waiting for the associated order to pass its refund window. These cannot be withdrawn yet.
• Available: Commissions that have fully cleared and are ready to be paid out. Only this amount counts toward the minimum threshold.

Payout Options

Once the $50 CAD minimum is reached, you can choose to receive your payout via:

• PayPal - sent to your registered PayPal email address
• Account Credit - applied to your dotCanada account balance for use on future invoices

How Long Does It Take to Reach the Minimum?

This depends entirely on your referral volume and the commission rate for each product. Hosting plans generally carry a strong per-sale commission, so active promoters can reach the threshold relatively quickly.

Can I Check My Current Balance?

Yes - your current available and pending balances are always visible in the Affiliates section of your dotCanada client area.
